"Lincoln showed an interest in Adnan so we thought it would be good for him to go there for a time," he told the clubs official website.
"He can't play a first-team game due to suspension, but he may feature behind closed doors.
"It will be a good experience for him and will hopefully make him appreciate what he's got here. It doesn't mean he is leaving."
