As expected, there has been a huge response with over 40 applicants applying for the job.

Many fans will be sad to here that former boss and Town fan favourite Peter Jackson,  has recently been announced that he will NOT be applying for the post. Towns promotion winning skipper Lee Sinnot has told the press he has applied for the job and is confident he's got a good chance.

''Paul Haigh, Paul Bane, Geoff Headey and myself have all had a look at the candidates and we will have our say on who we fell are the best ones'' Said Mr Taylor yesterday.

''Hopefully, we will draw up a list of five or six people and, if all goes well, set up some interviews this weekend'' He added.
