Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has challenged his side to bounce back from their 5-0 hammering by Southampton.Tuesday night's defeat at St Mary's ended Town's 11 match unbeaten run but Clark's side remain in the League One play-offs on goal difference.

"This is a real test for us. I can't accept losing in that manner," Clark told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Are these players young men or little boys? I think they are young men, but they have to go and prove that now."

He added: "I am the manager and I have to take responsibility for this defeat but we all have to react in the right way now."

That defeat was not worth anything to Huddersfield Town, certainly not while I'm the manager of this football club.

Town remain sixth in the league, but seventh place Millwall are now joint on points with a game in hand.

Huddersfield face relegation strugglers Gillingham on Saturday and Clark knows they must get back to winning ways.

"The way they perform at Gillingham will tell me a lot about these lads. I have confidence they will react in the right way, but it's up to them now. I think we can bounce back," added Clark.

"That defeat was not worth anything to Huddersfield Town, certainly not while I'm the manager of this football club."
