Holland to miss Wycombe game

This is the same treatment Danny Schofield had, and so Chris will be out for up to 5 days, meaning it would be impossible for him to play on Saturday.

This is another major blow for under-pressure manager Mick Wadsworth who could still have Steve Jenkins, John Thorrington and Simon Baldry unavalible for Saturday as they have been unable to start trainning again.

'Chris has been working through the problem but it got to the stage where he needed a little extra help," said Wadsworth.

'It's very, very disappointing that it's had to come at this stage, because we need all our more experienced players around.'

Wadsworth will be taking a reserve side to Newcaste tonight for a traning match after Sunderland pulled out.

With Holland out, this could mean a home debut for Paul Scott, who made his debut away at Cheltenham on Saturday, thats if Wadsworth decides to play Mattis at right-back again(why oh why oh?!?!?) instead of Jon Dyson or Nathan Clarke.
