The Town goalkeeper is currently on loan with the League Two side but that deal expires at the end of this month.
"I am in dialogue with Stuart McCall on a weekly basis about Simon," Clark has said.
"We will be looking in the next couple of weeks at Simon's situation.
"He has been doing well and the loan is working well for both clubs because he is solving them a goalkeeping problem and, from our point of view, he is getting first-team games under his belt to help towards his development.
"What we have to consider is whether he stays at Bradford, whether he comes back to us or whether he comes back here and then goes out on loan somewhere else.
"We are still working on that."
