According to the club's official website Town boss Lou Macari will continue to monitor the progress of John Thorrington, before ruling on his future.

The 22 year old trialist arrived at the Mcalpine last month and has since played in the recent friendly at Blackpool, and the practice match at Blackpool.

"He is a young lad we are just taking our time with at the moment. We will just see how he progresses in the time that he’s here with us," said Macari.
