“Jon has officially left the Club by mutual consent,” manager Peter Jackson told the clubs official website.
“It just didn’t work out here and I am looking at bringing another striker in.
"He had a great pre-season, but his League form let him down. He is a confidence players and I thought that as soon as he got his first, he would score a lot of goals, but that didn’t happen.
"He was further and further down the pecking order as the season went on and it was only right to draw the whole thing to a conclusion.
"We wish him all the best in finding a new club.”
