According to the official Huddersfield website, Town’s trip to face Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 27. The game will kick-off at 7.45pm.
Lou Macari has revealed how nothing now surprises him in the world of football. Talking to Ananova.com Macari said the deal between Manchester United and the New York Yankee's was "frightening."
Macari who spent 11 season at Old Trafford said, "If there's cash to be earned somewhere - whether it be in Singapore or the Far East or Australia or America - that's what's happening. I just think it's another case of exploring every avenue there is to bring in revenue - and why not America? I just wonder whether the Americans will ever catch on to football and whether you'll get a response from them - this will be a good test."
Macari went on to compare the record breaking deal with the likes of Hull City, "The manager is trying to get into the training ground and it's locked up, the ground's locked up and they're in court with outstanding bills. That's probably a week's wages for a United player, but their players haven't been paid so as a result the future of the club's in jeopardy - it's just frightening."
Macari also appeared on The Last Word this week. In a revealing interview with Jimmy Hill he detailed the financial restraints on the club.
