Youngster Clarke has been out of action since July aftert damaging his knee. Clarke was due to be fit for the beginning of the new season, but sufferd a set back and was expected to be out till the new year.
Its great news for manager Mick Wadsworth whoes defensive options have been limited this season, and will be more after Steve Jenkins injured his hip against Bristol City and looks likely to miss the trip to Cheltenham.
