Talks crucial in Town survival

Town's top man still hasn't been able to speak with the PFA about how they could help. I personally think that is disgusting. Just because we haven't just been relegated from the premiership doesn't mean we aren't important!

Taylor said he is also hopeful of adding to the board, but says the new member would not put anymore cash into the club than the other board members.

Mr Taylor said in an offical club statement, 'A few weeks ago we had talks with the players regarding taking pays cuts, and further meeting with Towns PFA rep, Jon Dyson.'

'The meetings were constructive, but due to the PFA dealing with Derby County and Leicester City, we have been able to hold meeting with them.'

'Hopefully, the meeting will take place in the next 7 days, but i've no idea how this meeting will develop or what the PFA will propose.'

'In the meantime, i have been talking to potentail investors and buyers in a bid to save the long term future of the club.'

Although they are local rivals, Town fans must look at Barnsley's fans. They are trying to raise £6 MILLION to save there club, if takeover talks are unsuccesful.

TOWN FANS MUST DO ALL WE CAN TO GET OUR CLUB OUT OF THE HOLE WERE IN. WE CAN POINT FINGERS AT THE PEOPLE WE BLAME FOR PUTTING US IN THIS POSITION, BUT THATS NOT GOING TO SAVE US. GET BEHIND THE TEAM, GOOD PERFORMANCE OR BAD, GET DOWN TO THE GAMES, AND SUPPORT YOUR CLUB!
