Lee glee at last

Alan Lee scored his first league goals for Huddersfield as the Terriers broke Wycombe's stubborn resistance to earn a 3-0 win.

Lee's double had been a long time coming as it is almost exactly 12 months since he joined Huddersfield from Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day last year.

The striker, who turned 33 last week, struck with his first touch after coming on as a second-half substitute. Gary Naysmith swung over a cross from the left after 57 minutes and Lee leapt to send a looping back-header spinning into the top corner.

His second goal was a bullet header crashed in at the near post on 71 minutes after a pacy run and cross down the right flank from Jack Hunt.

The third goal came in the 82nd minute when Jordan Rhodes was fouled by Leon Johnson on the edge of the box and Gary Roberts smashed the free-kick straight into the net.

Huddersfield are now unbeaten in 30 league matches going back to December last year.
