RED MIST COST TOWN VITAL POINTS

It was a frustrating afternoon for Peter Jackson's men as they their horrendous disciplinary record continued with the two red cards being handed out to Efe Sodje and Tom Clarke.
The first half was promising for Town with Brandon and Ahmed working well, but Town lacked the finsishing touch in the final third.
Brandon almost broke the deadlock against his old club as he was sent racing through in the opening minute only to have his shot foiled by Chesterfield keeper Marton Fulop.
While at the other end Cheterfield missed a few chances, the lack of a clinical striker seemed to be their problem.
However the home side seemed to be spurred on by the half time team-talk as
Chesterfield hopes were lifted as Tom Clarke was sent off to a professional foul in the box, the resulting penalty was converted by Shane Nicholson.
Things then turned from bad to worse for the Terriers as Mirfin gave away a second penalty with a foul on Jamie McMaster, Nicholson then punished Town even more by blasting the ball past Rachubka.
The visiting fans were given a glimmer of hope as Mirfin redeemed himself by heading a Tony Carss cross past the helpless Fulop.
The game seemed to be back on as Town pressed forwards for the last ten minutes, disaster then struck as Efe Sodje was shown his second yellow card and given a early bath by referee Curson.
Town boss
Jackson patience must now be wearing thin with the Sodje's lack of discipline.
The game then fizzled out as Town fans poured out of Saltergate wondering if Town will ever win away from home.
Next week Town entertain bottom place Stockport in what must be three points for Jackson's boys.
